We are converting to solar energy at all our production and warehousing locations through captive solar plants at each of our facilities in the coming months. This shift will cut down on carbon emissions substantially and allow us to achieve net-zero status sooner than it would be achieved otherwise.

GLS has implemented state-of-the-art recycling techniques that convert post-industrial (pre-consumer) plastic waste into high-value by-products such as synthetic fuel, carbon black, and hydrocarbon gas. It reduces the dependency on virgin resources, while keeping plastics out of landfills.

All of our facilities have been designed to lead the way in eco-efficiency. Many GLS locations have been certified as Platinum edge green buildings through IGBC (Indian Green Building Council). Our facilities will have zero liquid discharge (ZLD) systems, rainwater harvesting, energy-efficient machinery and operations using CNG.

GLS is leading the circular economy movement with its advanced pyrolysis unit that converts non-recyclable plastics into clean synthetic fuel. This reduces landfill waste and offsets traditional fuel use — turning waste into a valuable energy source and promoting sustainable industrial growth.
Water sustainability is still paramount. Our rainwater harvesting system parts allow us to collect and reuse rainwater in a more integrated fashion. Providing greater water self-sufficiency and building environmental resilience. It reduces dependency on external water sources, supports landscaping and cooling operations, and significantly lowers overall freshwater consumption across facilities.
We have been taking significant initiatives to reduce carbon footprint to ensure a sustainable world. Environment-friendly practices are introduced and encouraged in our organization with a vision of a green planet.
