Mr. Rajesh Goyal is the founder and visionary leader behind the transformation of GLS Group into a diversified and future-ready enterprise. An Electrical Engineer by qualification, he combines deep manufacturing expertise with long term strategic foresight, enabling the Group to scale across multiple sectors including Packaging Films, Specialty Chemicals, Aluminium, Logistics and Warehousing, and Real Estate. The Real Estate vertical spans residential developments, commercial offices and retail, as well as Grade-A logistics and industrial parks with complete in-house capabilities from land acquisition and design to project delivery and asset management.

Under his leadership, GLS has achieved several defining milestones: the establishment of GLS Films Industries in 2003, the launch of GLS Specialty Chemicals in 2013, the development of Asia’s largest single-shed warehouse in 2016, the commissioning of a world-class aluminium foil rolling mill in 2020, and the introduction of GLS Polyfilms and GLS Elopak in 2021. Each achievement reflects his ability to combine vision with execution, expanding the Group’s presence across industries while maintaining focus on quality and innovation.

He is leading with a philosophy rooted in governance, sustainability and long-term value creation. Mr. Sandeep Goyal brings more than two decades of rich experience in manufacturing leadership to GLS Group. A Mechanical Engineer by training, he has been instrumental in shaping the Group’s operations, turning strategic vision into plants, processes and performance. His leadership combines technical expertise with practical execution, ensuring that every facility under GLS sets new benchmarks in efficiency, safety and quality.

The GLS journey began in 1994 when he founded Sandeep Laminators, introducing the Group to flexible packaging. This laid the foundation for what would become a diversified and future-focused enterprise. Over the years, he has led the Group through a series of transformative milestones: the commissioning of GLS Films Industries in 2003, the establishment of in-house Inks and Cylinders manufacturing in 2009, the launch of Yansefu Inks and Chemicals in 2013, the commissioning of a state-of-the-art aluminium foil rolling mill in 2020, and the expansion into sustainable packaging solutions with GLS Polyfilms and GLS Elopak in 2021. Each of these initiatives reflects his commitment to scale, innovation and long-term value creation.

At every facility, he fosters a culture of lean manufacturing, automation and rigorous quality and EHS practices. His emphasis on uptime, yield and cost efficiency has consistently delivered operational excellence. He also places strong focus on building resilient ecosystems through vendor development, supply chain reliability and capability building of plant teams. His approach ensures that every new line starts faster, runs safer and delivers the consistent standard of quality that defines GLS.

Arpit Goyal is a second generation entrepreneur and the Managing Director of GLS Group, a diversified business conglomerate with operations across multiple industries. He holds a B.Tech degree from Delhi College of Engineering and a postgraduate degree in Business Management from London Business School.

Since taking charge as Managing Director in 2019, he has played a pivotal role in driving the group’s growth, innovation, expansion, and diversification. With a clear focus on sustainability and future ready solutions, he has guided GLS Group into new business areas that align with global industry trends. Under his leadership, GLS has expanded into strategic ventures such as GLS Foils, GLS Polyfilms and GLS Elopak, strengthening its position of the group as a trusted leader in manufacturing and sustainable packaging solutions.

Among his many contributions, one of the most distinguished is the establishment of GLS Elopak, a joint venture with Elopak ASA of Norway. This partnership combines global expertise in flexible and liquid packaging with a strong focus on sustainability. GLS Elopak delivers eco-friendly packaging solutions for juices, dairy, plant-based beverages, ORS, homecare, and alcoholic beverages, setting new benchmarks in innovation and environmental responsibility.

At GLS Group, he spearheads the operations of GLS Specialty Chemicals and GLS Infra Projects. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Delhi University and a Master’s degree in Business Management from Macquarie University, Australia. His academic achievements, coupled with his entrepreneurial mindset, equip him with a well-rounded understanding of both global business trends and practical execution strategies.
